Viruses are malicious pieces of software that are solely intended to copy themselves onto new users’ computers – without prior approval. Trojan horses are also a form of malware which are disguised as separate programs. People are often unknowingly tricked into installing Trojan horses. Spyware is the creepier form of malware. It wants to track all of your computer activity to figure out what you’re doing, while simultaneously storing your personal data. A rootkit is software that can operate at the same level as your system administrator. This means that a rootkit can take full control over your computer, just like your admin can.
So now that you’re aware of the full capabilities which malware holds, it’s time to perform malware removal.

There are however more than a few strategies that you can use to defeat malware. In order to take advantage of the techniques behind proper malware removal, just follow these basic guidelines…

You can also ensure that the job is finished by formally uninstalling these programs as well, within the “Uninstall a Program” section of your Control Panel.
