Meet BRANDON, AN AngelCom Employee
POSITION: SR. SYSTEMS ENGINEER
Tell us about your work at AngelCom?
I’ve been with AngelCom since the summer of 2017. My role at AngelCom is best described as a Jack of All Trades. At least, that’s how I see myself. Primarily, though, I complete tickets like the rest of our techs but with a focus on the more complex projects, as well as assisting our other techs when they face problems of their own.
What is your favorite thing about working at AngelCom?
My favorite thing about AngelCom is the small company feel and flexibility. Here, I can grow into as big of shoes as I want while having limitless freedom to learn more about the IT world.
What does a typical day at AngelCom look like in your role?
A typical day will involve ensuring all high and emergency tickets are taken care of immediately followed by tickets that need to be escalated by our other technicians.
Something that might surprise you is that I lived in South Korea for two years right out of the University.
Brandon,
AngelCom Sr. Systems Engineer
What is one thing you cannot resist?
Good food! I know it’s an easy answer, but half the fun of my traveling is trying new food from those places.
Tell us something that might surprise us about you.

I lived in South Korea for two years right out of university!
What’s your favorite thing about where you live?
I would have to say the greenery and view of Mt. Rainier. Having lived here a majority of my life, then moving away for two years, it really brings into perspective the things you took for granted.
What was the last concert you went to?
I’m sorry, I’ve never actually been to a concert!!
What was the best vacation you ever went on?
Best vacation so far would have to be my trip to Osaka and Kyoto, Japan.
Would you rather go snorkeling or skydiving, and why?
Skydiving because I’ve already been scuba diving, which is better than snorkeling, in my opinion.

What do you do in your free time?
Most of my free time these days has been spending time with friends just hanging out. Besides that, I’m a PC gamer.
If you were an animal, what would you be and why?
Probably a Giraffe because the first thing people notice about me is my height.
What are your indoor and outdoor hobbies?
Traveling, hiking, gaming, and rock climbing would encompass the majority of my frequent hobbies.
What are you currently watching on Netflix?
Actually, I just finished watching Seinfeld for the first time, so I haven’t found my next series to go through.
Do you have a secret talent no one knows about?
If I told you, then it wouldn’t be a secret anymore 😊
